Safe e-scooter riding
Every day there are e-scooter accidents involving children who don't know the traffic rules or the correct riding position. We show them how to ride safely: helmet, posture, speed and where they are allowed to ride.
We teach drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and children how to prevent accidents — and exactly what to do when one happens.
Educate Yourself Everywhere
Campaigns that change habits behind the wheel.
Simple steps that save lives at an accident scene.
Volunteers and partners, from Romania to the world.
In 2017, our founder, Iulian Mehedin, was in a road accident at over 200 km/h. He survived. Months followed in which he didn't know what to do next — until he realised his story could become a lesson for others.
That is how Eye International — Educate Yourself Everywhere — was born in 2018. We work on road safety prevention and teach people what to do when they witness an accident. We started in Romania, with the goal of taking the message worldwide.
We believe in action, not just words. We have already run volunteer initiatives — for example, collecting unsold food from a bakery and delivering it by minivan to a night shelter for homeless people.
Fewer accidents and fewer lives lost — through education, personal example and a community that knows how to respond.
„You don't need to survive a crash to understand what a life is worth. I did — so you won't have to.”
We focus on the issues behind the most tragedies on Romania's roads — and explain them simply, so everyone can understand.
Every day there are e-scooter accidents involving children who don't know the traffic rules or the correct riding position. We show them how to ride safely: helmet, posture, speed and where they are allowed to ride.
We start from our founder's own experience: at high speed, there is no time left to react. Through real stories and educational videos we show why every km/h matters.
Phones, eating or smoking while driving take your eyes off the road at exactly the second that matters. Our campaigns are short, direct and easy to share.
Many people freeze when they see an accident. We teach the simple steps that can save a life until emergency services arrive.
We create songs and videos with road safety messages for YouTube, TikTok and Facebook — because a chorus is easier to remember than a rulebook.
We are preparing special defensive driving courses and an education centre with a dedicated circuit, where drivers will be able to practise safely.
Take a screenshot and keep it on your phone. In those moments, there's no time to search.
Stop safely, switch on your hazard lights and put on your high-visibility vest before getting out.
Place your warning triangles far enough back for other drivers to see them in time.
Say clearly where you are, how many people are injured and whether they are conscious. Don't hang up until told to.
Only move someone if they are in immediate danger (fire, traffic). Never remove a motorcyclist's helmet.
Talk to the person, reassure them and keep them warm. If you've taken a first-aid course, use what you learned.
Give information to the police and paramedics. What you saw can matter.
This guide is for information only and does not replace a first-aid course. In any emergency, call 112.
